To become a member of the World Organization of Building Officials (WOBO), first determine the membership classification for which you or your organization is qualified. Membership period extends for one year from the first of the month following receipt of dues payment. Membership in WOBO is available to:
Individual membership is open to all individuals who are interested in codes related to construction, fire safety, property maintenance, development, land use, enforcement, administration, inspection, investigations, testing, designs, surveys, appraisals, education and other such disciplines connected therewith directly or indirectly. In addition, professional individual membership is encouraged and open to all those engaged in the practice of architecture, engineering, surveying and town planning, together with construction law and/or other related areas. Annual fees: $30.00 US
Group membership is open to government units, agencies, departments, corporations, bureaus, professional institutes, associations and organizations, which administer, formulate, or enforce laws, codes and/or standards relating to construction, fire safety, property maintenance, development, land use, research, inspections, testing, designs, standards, investigations, surveys, manufacture or education. In addition, group membership is encouraged and open to associations, building product manufacturers and testing laboratories engaged in the building construction industry, together with such other disciplines connected therewith directly or indirectly, at national or international level. Annual fees: $175.00 US |
